Rest in peace, Joe. There is no more pain and suffering. No more needles, no more dializis you know what I mean. You are now safe in heaven where there is no pain and suffering. Your place is now with the Lord. I will miss you and will keep your memory alive forever. I will always remember how you said "Dad", how you said "Ma", "Lesha" and so on. Joe, 
 Was & is my brother. He was the salt of the earth. When his sugar was right if not all bets were off. He was a carpenter,a master carpenter like St. Joseph. Joe loved to work with wood. He was a father to 3 boys they were his pride and joy. He was a Euristics minster at San Fernando Cathedral.I will miss my brother very much but know he is in a better place. He is with our mother and all the angles and saints.

Joe was a sweet-hearted gentle man. His concern and love for his parents and family was of great importance to him. Joe will be missed but we have the future hope and knowing we will see him again in Heaven. I am sure he was greeted by his Mother and the Lord...His new adventure begins....

My uncle was truly a good man at heart. Although there were many times that he may have been misunderstood, he truly loved each and every one of us in his own way, as we did and still do. We all know that all that has happened in the last month and a half, was truly destiny on God's and Mammo's part. She always knew what she wanted : I will always remember a special memory of my uncle going to buy chinese candies, pigs feet or Big Hunk candies at the fina on Alamo, or the time we went to Mc Creeless mall to a jewelry store, and he bought me a locket with a chain, which I still have. I will truly miss Joe, even his scoldings to me about the girls, that was just my uncle. I know he meant well. Heaven has gained one heck of a carpenter that's for sure.Thank you Uncle for being there when I was going through those tough times as an adolescent, and taking me in to your home, and caring for me.

This is to my family I wish I could be there with all of you, but under my crurrent stiuation as all of you know I can't. I know he was proud of me when I joint the Army and of my daughters. I wish he could have seen both the girls before he left, but it never happen. All he ever wanted was to make us happy and he alway did, he alway brought a smiles to my face as well as Mario and Ben when we were down. I wish I could be as good a man as he was and as good a father! He will be miss very much by me and my family.

A great man died today. He wasn't a world leader or a famous doctor or a war hero or a sports figure. He was no business tycoon, and you would never see his name in the financial pages. But he was one of the greatest men who ever lived. He was my father. I guess you might say he was a person who was never interested in getting credit or reecieving honors. He did corny things like pay bills on time, go to church every sunday. Dad enjoyed simple things like fishing, pitching horshoes, opera wasn't exactly his thing. he liked country music, mowing the grass and working with his hands. He didnt own a tuxedo and I'm sure he never tasted smoked salmon or caviar. I am sorry now for the times I didn't show him the proper respect. But I am grateful for a lot of other things. I am thankful that God let me have my father for 18 years. And I am happy that I was able to let him know how much I loved him. That wonderful man died wit ha smile on his face and fulfilllment in his heart. he knew he was a great succes as a father, a brother, a son and a friend. I wonder how many millionares can say that.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your loved one. Although I'm not related, death affects us all and so I'd like to share a few comforting scriptures. By reading Mr. Montez's obituary, I see that he was a religious person, and with that in mind the following scriptures will surely be of special interest to his family. In 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 as well as Psalms 34:18 speaks of Jehovah God being the Father of all comfort and mercies. He is near all those who are broken and crushed in spirit. Doesn't that tell us what kind of person his son, Jesus is? Well let's see what's going to happen, in John 5:21,28,29 and Revelation 21:1-4 tells us what Jesus Christ and Jehovah God will do for mankind in the future. Jesus will resurrect those in their memorial tombs, and later Jehovah will do away with death, mourning and pain. I have a brochure, "When someone you love dies", that can benefit all to know more about the condition and the final outcome of all the dead according to the book of Revelation.
