Joe Rummel went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 26, 2010, at age 65. He graduated from Edison High in 1963. In 1984, he became a Christian. He was actively involved with teaching Sunday school and the Kairos Prison Ministry in Hondo. Joe was a loving husband; father, grandfather and loved his large family. He was preceded in death by his father, his first wife, and his sister. He is survived by his devoted wife, Becky; beloved daughters, Jennifer and Jodie; grandchildren, Matthew and Katie French; mother, Mary Schmidt and husband Harold; brothers, Charlie, Chester and Boyce Rummel. Visitation: Thursday December 30, 2010 from 6-8pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 31, 2010 at 3:00pm, both at Sunset Funeral Home.
