Joe Trevino, age 89, of San Antonio, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2009. Joe served as a firefighter for 39 years as well as the Sheriff's Department for 30 years. He served in the United States Marine Corps, during the Korean War. He also taught water safety to children at the YMCA. He is preceded in death by his brothers; Leo Trevino, Robert Trevino; sisters Connie Navarijo and Sandy Aguilar. Joe is survived by his loving wife, Margaret I. Trevino; sons, Joe Trevino, Jr. and wife, Judy, Patrick Trevino, Carlos Trevino and wife, Skie; step-son, Michael Williams and wife , Grace; eleven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, John Trevino; sisters, Olga Trevino, Delores Wellock, and Carrie Alderete
