Johanna Marie Snyder, who was almost 100 years old, went into the hands of our Lord on February 3, 2017. She was born on May 12, 1917, in San Antonio, Texas, the only daughter of Albert & Caroline Kuehm. She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend who will be dearly missed. For the last 32 years of her life, she has been affectionately known as “Granny” following the birth of her only grandchild in 1984.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her two brothers, Joseph & Albert, Jr.; and her husband, Jack Snyder.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Hartle & husband, Robert; granddaughter, Michelle Simmons & husband, Jonathan; great-grandson, Carter Jackson Simmons; three nieces, and many other caring relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park on Monday, February 20, 2017.
