John E. Branagan, 82, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013. He was born in McKee’s Rocks, PA, on August 2, 1931 to James A. & Marie Hughes Branagan. He retired at the rank of Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force and later from civil service to the United States Army. He is survived by his wife Helen, children Karen Nanos and husband Jeffrey; John R. Branagan and wife Laureen, Christopher Branagan and wife Joy; grandson Jason Nanos and fiancée Victoria Fyfe; and Paul Menzies; brothers Paul Branagan, Jim Branagan, and Dennis Branagan; sister Peggy Butz; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd. The interment will follow at a later date at Ft.
