He was born on November 12, 1924 in West Hoboken, NJ to Joseph and Theresa Cadamatre. John was a recipient of the WWII Bronze Star. He loved to bowl and visit the casinos. He was the leader of a band called "The Gentlemen Plus". His favorite times were with his family and friends at the Wildwood Crest Shore in New Jersey. John worked as a Lithographer and retired in 1988.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Antonia G. Cadamatre; brother, Joseph Cadamatre; granddaughter, Sarah; and son in law, Frank Pecora.
John is survived by son John Cadamatre and wife Patti; daughters Norma Conkle and husband Ray; Cathy Pecora; Carole Hookings and husband George; 7 grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Jason, Brian, Jessica, Stephanie and Katie; 7 great grandchildren, Lauren, Ileesa, Cheyanne, Alysha, Mario, Christopher and Skylar.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
