MSG John A. Gasper, US Army Ret, age 71, a resident of San Antonio since 1973, died Wednesday, August 22, 2001. Preceded in death by his daughter, Christina in 1973. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Emma; children, John M. Gasper, San Antonio, June and her husband, Col. Robert P. Livingston, USAF Ret, Marble Falls, TX, 1SG Bruce D. Gasper, USA Ret and his wife, SSG Crystal Gasper, Fredericksburg, VA, and Charles D. Gasper, San Antonio; grandchildren, Karen Wallace, James Wallace, SPC Bruce D. Gasper, Jr., CPL Jeffery Gasper, Megan Dees, Katlyn Dees, and Brandon Gasper; great grandchildren, Jauan Wallace, Rashon Wallace, and Autumn Gasper; sister, Irene; brother, Bill; numerous nieces and nephews.
