I worked for John when he first transferred to Special Assets. He was so smart, so funny, such a gentleman, so proud of his family, such a great boss and a wonderful person. Everyone loved him and enjoyed his company. He would show us pictures on the internet of his boys at camp and we got to enjoy their newest adventures or misadventures. We knew Nancy was the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan and he would brag about that and her collection of "school stuff" in the garage. He was just such a proud Dad and husband. I feel very lucky to have known and worked for him. God Bless all of you.

I was sorry to read about John's death last week. I used to work with him at CitySavings before it was closed and then at the ARC. He was a good man and I know he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. I have to apologize for not coming to his funeral, but I wanted to let you know that even someone who knew him a long time ago was sorry to hear of his loss.

We are all praying for God's comfort of your family. May he surround you with his loving arms.

I had the privelage of hunting once with Lowry and believe it or not, he had a Stevens-Browning 12 guage which was just like my 20 gauge and we had such a great time discussing the history of the gun. He was a fine person and a gentleman. Also a good shot.

I worked with him in Special Assets, but was unable to attend the viewing or services due to my husband just getting out of the hospital from surgery. John will be missed very much at Frost. He was always smiling even after he got sick. His wonderful personality was a joy to be around. He was always in my prayers along with my grandson who has lukemia, who just turned 5 on 4/21/05. You will continue to be in my prayers, because I know it is hard to loose someone who is so close to you. Remember that John is with the Lord and he is always with you and will guide you.

Dear Family & Loved Ones: It was a pleasure to work with John over the years. He was a hard working man, who led by example. John was a man who never complained, he faced his challenges with a fearless perseverance. He was a man of integrity; he was kind and wise. I've only been a family member for about 6 years, but I remember Lowry making me feel comfortable the moment I met him. You only need to look at the love and devotion of his family to him to see what a good man he was. Byron and I pray for comfort for all of Lowry's family.
