John was a friend and did my taxes for many years. Every so often we would meet for lunch at Los Barrios, which he seem to love and would catch up with what has happened since the last lunch. He will be missed and I will miss the fun lunch’s

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of John.  He was a good friend of my mothers' and a good friend to me.  I always looked forward to seeing him.  He was my CPA as well.  We would always get together at Jim's Restaurant to have breakfast at tax time.  I will miss him very much.  Rest in Peace John.

John was an honorable man. He did my taxes for years. He was so conscientious and thorough with my paperwork.

I have known John as a fellow employee of USAA , as a golf partner  and as a true friend who went out of his way to  help others.  We never had an argument or even a disagreement.  Our idea of the way the world should be was so similar.  Maybe it's because we were born  5 days apart and were raised at a time when the world made sense.  I will never forget John. and hope to meet him in the afterlife in some way.

Oh my sweet, dear friend, my heart is broken from learning of your passing.  The world is missing one of the finest friend, accountant and a good guy.  I hope we will be able to find another reliable person to file our taxes. God bless you John, you will be missed so much. I am so sad to hear of his loss. Knew him thru USAA. He did my taxes for years. I and my family have known him for  years.

I’m truly sorry to hear about John’s passing. 
I had been cutting his hair for about 40 years

I will truly miss John.  I worked with him at USAA's Accounting Department in 1989 and our team loved him.   Once he left USAA, I kept in touch and he did our tax returns from 1990 until 2024.  I enjoyed his wit, humor and of course all the political topics (Republican Strong).
