John William Keating, was born September 17, 1931 in San Antonio and died Saturday, July 13, 2002. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Greenland and was honorably discharged in 1951, and later attended Trinity University. He was married to Sheila Hodges Keating for 46 years. Mr. Keating received his Electronic Certification at Delmar College, and was a Videotape Editor at PBS and NBC Affiliates in Houston. He was also Technical Director at Taft Broadcasting Company, which provided television coverage for astronaut weightlessness training at Johnson Space Center Building 29 in Clear Lake City. Survivors include: his wife, Sheila; son, William McCall Keating and wife, Kristy; son, Edward Randall Keating; son, Paul Redmond Keating and wife, Beverly; six grandchildren; brother, Peter M. Keating, Jr.; sisters, Mrs. David Carter and Mrs. Robert Carton; cousin, Mrs. Jean Aubrey Bruton
