Dear Shirley & Nick, 
I just heard of John's passing and I just wanted to tell you both how sorry I am for your loss. John was a wonderful husband, father and friend and I know he will be missed by so many. He was a dear man and an Aggie that I always respected and I am thankful for the time I spent with him and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Shirley and family, it was with much sadness that we read the news about John passing away. His name will always bring back fond memories and Ulrich jr. especially remembers his pleasant 3 month stay in San Antonio in 1983. Ulrich sr.'s memories go back even further to the 60s. John was always one of the nicest men we knew. I have fond memories of the time we were members of the same family. My thoughts are with Shane, Clay, and Leslie. Sorry for your loss.

Our deepest condolences to Shirley and all the children. I worked with John for many years when he was at ARA and SwRI, as well as at his own company. We became good friends during the past 50 years. May he rest in peace.

I met John about 14 years ago, and have worked with him on his company and personal insurance since. I feel blessed to have known him. I have always admired his leadership, integrity and most of all his kindness to others. We miss you John. God Bless

I would like to offer my condolences to the family on the passing of John. I worked with him for many years at EG&G Automotive. I had lunch with him several years ago and we had a great time recalling the "old times". He will be greatly missed.

John was a good man and a great friend, I'll never forget him. He was my best man over 46 years ago when Becky and I were married. I first met him in high school and we had some great times together. We stayed in touch over the years and he was always genuinly glad to hear from me. Tomorrow and thereafter the world will be a little grayer and melencoly with the knowledge of his passing.
