

John went to Mount Carmel High School and served in the US Air Force with deployments in Vietnam, Korea, and the Philippines. He retired a Master Sargent in 1981 after serving 20 years. His second career led him into Law Enforcement where he began in precinct 5 then moved to Elmendorf before finally joining the force in the City of Shavano serving as the Chief of Police.
He is predeceased by his brothers, Edward H. McFall and James A. McFall and survived by his sister Frances McFall Brown of Deer Park, Texas. He leaves behind three children, John F. McFall, Olivia V. McFall Caballero, and Elizabeth A. McFall as well as eight grandchildren: Michelle Caballero, Hunter F. McFall, Brianna N. McFall, Naomi A. McFall, William Jr. Lynch, Brandon Lynch, Olivia R. McFall, and Michael Rodriguez, as well as, six great grandchildren Annisty Lynch, Cadence Hollins, Noah Pena, Abel Pena, Skye Rodriguez, and Belle E. Markle.

Services will be held at Porter Loring Mortuary West 1710 W. Loop 1604 N., San Antonio, TX 78251 (near SeaWorld) on December 7th, 2022, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM followed by a celebration of life memorial service.
