CPT Millar honorably served in the United States Army during World War II. He graduated from Trinity University with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and worked for Southwest Research Institute from 1947 until his retirement in 1983.
John was active in St. Mary Magdalen Parish for many years.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Norma; his parents, Richard and Virda Millar; four brothers and one sister.
John is survived by his daughter, Teresa; son-in-law, Bob and grandchildren, Valerie Carson and David Comer; nieces Carolyn Henderson, Charlotte Elkins, Mary Sue Rogers, Jane Jones and their families. We will truly miss him.
