John Connell Mosley, Sr.

John was born on May 5, 1930 in Shreveport, LA, to parents, John Curo and Florence Hamiter Mosley. He retired from Exxon. He spent three and a half years working in Aruba, Netherland Antillies, and twelve years in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. John enjoyed antique cars, motor home travel and was a member of the Garden Ridge Lions Club, C.O.P., Shreveport Masonic Lodge, ASME and AACA.

John was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Eugene Mosley.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ladye-Janette Mosley of Garden Ridge, TX; son, John C. (Rusty) Mosley, Jr. and wife, Donna Cook Mosley; son, Michael S. Mosley; son, David P. Mosley and wife, Mary Fowler Mosley; daughter, Kimberly M. Kotara and husband Jeffrey; daughter, Victoria M. Peck and husband Rob; ten grandchildren, Lauren Mosley, Chad Mosley, Keegan Mosley, Abigail Mosley, Kara Mosley, Patrick Mosley, James-Wyatt Kotara, Moira Kotara, Diana Peck and Cameron Peck; three great-grandchildren, Joey Mosley, Lanie Mosley and Ethan Mosley; and numerous nieces, nephews, and sister-in-law, Peggy Mosley.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
