Dear Dad,

I thought of you today as I often do. It's been while since I've written to you. So much has changed since you left us. Chris remarried and has a new baby boy and a bonus daughter. He seems so happy which is what every parent hopes for. 

Shaunnah remarried too. They have a new baby girl. She has two bonus sons to add to her family. She is thrilled to finally have a baby girl/

Dana and Tim moved to Orlando and have a beautiful home. They love it there. I've visited them a few times and always enjoy spending time with them.

Amanda married Daniel and they have a new baby boy. She is thrilled to be a new mother. They are doing well in their new home. 

Aundrea has a new baby too. So now I'm a great grandmother. It still seems unbelievable to me. She has a beautiful baby girl. I'm so proud of her.

Hanna graduated this year and she will be off to college soon. Time sure flies. She is interested in aeronautical engineering. You could tell her a few things about that. 

Mom is missing you everyday. She stays busy around her cabin caring for her plants and of course Patti. Things are not the same without you here. We are carrying on the best we know how and hope we make you proud. 

Glad we could have this little talk. I pray for you often. I love and miss you more than you will ever know.

Dear Dad, I wanted to come see you today. You always seem to know what to say or do. The words I miss you seem so small. Not much has changed around here. Mom misses you terribly we all do. You would be so proud to see Andrew and Connor play football. They love the sport. Aundrea is playing an instrument in the band and is in all honors classes. Hanna sings like an angel. You would be amazed at her voice. Emilena is a doll. There is not anything she won't try. The kids are doing really well. How I wish you could see them now. I hope in someway you are seeing us. You are in my prayers. I love you always!

Dear Dad, Thought I would catch you up on whats happening in our lives since you've passed. Tomorrow is your birthday and you would be so proud of your children, grand children, and great grandchildren. Chris married Melissa and they have a beautiful daughter named Emilena. You would love her smile and eyes. Shaunnah and the boys are living in a new home and she has a new job. The boys, well, they are all boys. Dana and Tim are engaged. Not sure when or where they will marry but I know it will be beautiful. Amanda has a new job she is a Director of the Visual Arts Center here. I'm still selling real estate. Not a lot of change other than that. Mom misses you terribly and it's hard to listen to her cry and voice crack. Happy Birthday Dad. Love and miss you dearly.

I miss my Father with all my heart. He sacrificed everything for our family. I remember he would walk to work so we could have the car, and gave blood in hard times, so we had food to eat. He was a mans,man. It will be hard to live up to the examples he has set, but we will, for him and for Mom. I love and miss him so much. God speed Dad. You are in heaven now with the rest of the family you love and miss. Until we meet again, so long. Not good bye, not today, not ever.
