My deepest condolences to the Bocko family. My dad, David Evans, survived the Denny's incident with Sgt Bocko back in 2003. Sgt Bocko will always be rememebered as a hero. I will forever be grateful and thankful that he was a part of our community and my dad's life as well. Thank you.

John was a good person i remember him from Goodnight Junior High in San Marcos.We played Alto Sax he was very good at it.I saw a report on the news about his death and i said to my self i remember that guy just something about that name Bocko.My condolences to all his family.

To the Family and Friends of Sgt. John Bocko. I personally didn't know Sgt. Bocko but someone I know was very close to him; who use to ride with him with their motorcycles said Bocko was a really good man. I wish I had the opportunity to know him more and be more acquainted with him and his family. Bocko really touched many people's hearts and he will be dearly missed. In my mind, Russell will always be that precious little cousin of mine that I thought I was so much older than! ha All of you, Aunt Betty, Don Jr., Beverly, Galen and Cindy are in my thoughts and prayers. This verse has given me comfort at difficult times and want to share it with you in hopes that it will give you comfort. John 4:1-4 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going."

My sincere condolences to Beverly and the entire Bocko family. We all grew up together with the Bocko clan and I remember John well. Time goes by so quickly and there are many fond memories. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.
