John was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Lucile Barajas Teal; his brothers, Tom Teal and Randy Teal.
John is survived by his wife of 35 years, Margot Teal; children, David Teal, Jillian Teal and Abigail Teal brothers, Michael Teal, Richard Teal, Robert Teal, and James Teal.
Visitation will be a Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas 78238 on July 13, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with an Evening service at 7:00 P.M.
A Funeral service will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. July 14, 2023 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery at
