John H. Ziller

John was a lifelong Democrat and worked on many political campaigns. He began his professional career in direct marketing and transitioned to magazine publication with the creation of Ventana USA. After many years of collaboration with La Reforma Newspaper in Mexico, John began the publication of Scene in SA magazine. Through his publication, he would celebrate and uplift the people of San Antonio. John will be remembered for his outgoing, comforting spirit, and the willingness to debate anyone on political topics. He will be dearly missed by his friends, colleagues and loved ones.

John was predeceased by his son James, mother Joan Hunt, father Rector Howard Ziller, and brother Zackary Ziller. He is survived by his wife Laura Brenz Ziller, son William Hunt Ziller, brothers Rex and Theodore Ziller and sister Suzanne Nelson. Memorial services will be held at 10AM on Friday February 3rd, 2023, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 308 Mt Calvary Dr, San Antonio, TX 78209.
