Johnnie Davenport-Holder, age 91, passed away January 5, 2012. She was born on April 21, 1920 in Winters, Texas to John and Lee Elder. She is survived by her son, John Davenport and wife Marsha; daughter, Billie Eddy, step-daughter, Patsy Keene; grandchildren, Randy Smith and wife Martha, Jay Davenport and wife Melissa, and Ashley Davenport; great-grandchildren, Lee Smith, Casey Smith, Danielle Smith, Makayla Smith, Jaylen Davenport, Jalyssa Davenport; great-great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Wang and Leighanna Wang; brother, John Freeman Elder; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home Chapel on Bandera Road with Rev. Clark Fooshee Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
