

Jon Garrett Lierly, known to many as "Kenickie," age 26, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2010, in San Antonio, TX. He was born in Tulsa, OK, on January 2, 1984, to Randy and Cyndy Lierly. He was a recent graduate of the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Phoenix, AZ and was a skilled mechanic, accomplished woodworker and talented cabinetmaker. Garrett loved the outdoors, was an avid cyclist, skilled rock climber, and gifted guitarist. He was a loving son, devoted brother, loyal friend and most of all a child of God. We will all miss his engaging smile, his contagious laugh and his perseverance for adventure. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Marvin Harp. Survivors include his parents; his brother, Ian; his grandparents, Tom and Maxine Lierly and Patty Harp; two uncles, Rex Lierly and wife, Trish Bonheyo, and Ron Harp and wife, Cindy; and 9 cousins: Matthew, Mackenzie, Graham, Cameron, Constance, Olivia, Elliott, Aubria & Peyton. A visitation will take place on Friday, November 12, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 P.M., at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
