

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Hector Valadez, Samuel and Maria Hernandez. Jonathan is survived by his parents Jose and Nancy, sisters Elliana and Maria Grace Valadez, Grandmother Sylvia Valadez, aunts Lorraine Johnson, Patricia Valadez, Sylvia Castillo, Julie Valadez, numerous cousins, extended family and friends.
Jonathan was a beloved son, brother, cousin, and friend with a kind soul, big heart, and a great sense of humor. He always enjoyed spending time with his family going fishing, jumping in the waves at the beach, and camping at the lake. He also enjoyed numerous anime’s, especially Pokémon, ever since he was a young boy.
Jonathan had a soft spot for animals. He found great joy in caring for our family dogs Waco and Prince, however he truly loved spending time with his cats Ozzy and Iris. He had an eclectic taste in music which included many genres such as country, hip-hop, Tejano, classic rock and Christian music. Jonathan had an enormous amount of love for his family and took great pride in being a big brother to his two younger sisters.
He will be eternally loved and missed.
Services will take place on February 8, 2025 with a 6:00 PM visitation, followed by a 7:00 PM prayer service. All services will be held at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, located on 6321 Bandera Rd, San Antonio, TX 78238.
