Jorge Pena Sr.

Jorge enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, fishing, barbecuing, and camping with family at Garner State Park. He loved spending time outdoors, especially visiting parks, and was always happy with a good plate of Mexican food, particularly Menudo and Barbacoa. He also enjoyed listening to traditional Mexican music with accordions, which reminded him of home and family.

More than anything, Jorge loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him endless joy.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Irene A. Pena (Ricardo Pena); his parents, Socorro and Rodolfo Pena Sr.; his brother, Rodolfo Pena Jr.; and his sisters, Alicia Pena and Sylvia Ramos.

Jorge is survived by his children, Jorge Pena Jr., David Pena, Norma Irene Pena, and Maria del Socorro Pena; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Gloria Pena and Ernesto Pena.

Family and friends will gather to honor Jorges' life on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
