As I was reading the Memory Tributes to your dad, Jose Mendoza Lopez, I was deeply touched by his Legacy, your dad was truly a HERO, fighting for our country, I can tell that those who knew him loved him dearly, he must have being such a wonderful man all around. His spirit would always be with you...You had a Great DAD.

My sincere sympathy upon the passing of Jose Lopez. I remember him as a loving and protective father for the family.

It was truly a great honor to serve with Jose Lopez in Korea during the year of 1963. Additionally, we both share the extreme pride of being a Vietnam veteran. He was a tremendous soldier, and a noble man. Jose... you will undoubtedly be missed. Thank you for your loyal service, and God bless.

During the short time we knew Mr. Lopez, it became eminent that he had touched our hearts with his gracious smile...Both my wife and daughter lovingly called him Grandpa when they would see him at hockey games....

I only met your Father a couple of times, when he would drive to Bea and Roberts Home Health, but he was a kind and loving man. You have much to be proud of by having him as a Father. God Bless each one of you.
