Jose R. Carrillo born on November 23, 1946 in San Antonio, TX entered into rest on September 26, 2026 at the age of 79. He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan Carrillo and Teresa Colunga Carrillo.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Ernestina Carrillo; children, Joe Carrillo, Yvette Saenz, Lucila Gutierrez, Margo Meza and Jesse Leal; also, 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.
Graveside Services and Interment will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 16, 2026 at Cordi-Marian Resurrection Cemetery, 11624 Culebra Rd., San Antonio,TX 78253. Everyone will meet at the cemetery. There will be no procession from the funeral on Friday.
