

José Angel Carrisal Sr. is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Lidia Cruz Carrisal, their three children Lidia Marie Trautman (Jeff), Diana Lee Carrisal, José Angel Carrisal Jr. Five Grandchildren Natalia More (Brian), Antonio Morley, Dominic Davis (Cassandra), Teresa Davis, Israel Gonzales and one Great Grandchild Penelope Davis. Siblings John A. Carrisal, Angie Valdez (Vincent), Alfredo Carrisal, Terri Carrisal (Sylvia) and Mary Ester Rodriquez (Anthony).
He was preceded in death by his parents Juan V. Carrisal and Guadalupe DeLeon Carrisal.Father-in-Law Andres Cruz Sr., sister Rebecca Carrisal and niece Melody Elizabeth Sigler.
Served proudly and bravely as Security Forces in the USAF 28 years, retiring José A Carrisal, SMSgt, USAF. He loved working on cars, his Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs and Texas Rangers.
José’s legacy of love and devotion to GOD and family will continue to inspire all who knew him. May his love and memories bring comfort and peace to those he leaves behind.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 9883 Marbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78245 with a Committal Service to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
