Jose Eloy Lopez Jr.

Jose Eloy Lopez Jr., a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025. Known for his quiet strength, warm heart, and unshakable work ethic, Jose was a pillar of love and reliability in the lives of those who knew him. His presence brought comfort and joy, and his absence leaves a deep and lasting void.

Jose is survived by his beloved daughter, Sabrina Victoria Lopez, and her husband, Kavon Ataee. He was a proud grandfather to John Lopez and his wife Eden Lopez, Justin Chavarria, and Jazlynn Lopez, who shared a special bond with her grandfather and sweetly remarked, "I'll call you later." He also leaves behind his loving sisters Yolanda & Petra, and brother Roland, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.

For over 33 years, Jose dedicated himself as a maintenance mechanic at Intertek, where he earned the respect of his colleagues and formed lifelong friendships. He found joy in the simple moments, like spending time with friends, sharing laughs, and creating memories that will be treasured forever. Jose's unwavering loyalty, steady guidance, and loving nature will be remembered always. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

A celebration of life will be held at Mission Park Pavilion #2, 7675 Padre Cir, San Antonio, TX 78214, on August 16, 2025 from 4:00 - 8:00pm.
