He was a graduate of Judson High School and worked for GEM Communications. He was an example of genuine goodness to his family, especially his sister, Veronica and brother, Salvador. Jose Luis was a talented individual. He learned to speak French and had a passion for the French culture. He also enjoyed music and spending time with his family and friends. Jose Luis was a proud brother and loving son.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Maria Petra and Jose Luis Valadez.
Jose Luis is survived by his parents: Salvador and Gabriela Rodriguez; sister, Veronica Rodriguez, brother, Salvador Rodrigues Jr.; paternal grandparents: Martin and Aurora Rodriguez; his best friend, Tommy Ramirez; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many wonderful friends.
On Friday, April 1st a Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 6:30 PM at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 3107 N. St. Mary's Street.
Jose Luis touched many lives, he was truly loved and will be deeply missed.
