

Jose found happiness in the outdoors, where he spent much of his time fishing, gardening, and camping. He enjoyed shopping, watching softball, baseball and soccer. One of his greatest passions was coaching, where he shared his knowledge, encouragement, and love of the game with others. Whether on the field or surrounded by nature, Jose’s presence brought warmth, laughter, and a sense of togetherness.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jesus Suarez; mother, Elida Suarez; and sister, Patricia Suarez.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janie Suarez; his children, Humberto Javier Suarez, Sergio Adolfo Suarez, and Tori Caitlin Suarez; his siblings, Jorge Suarez, Jesus Suarez, and Rose Suarez; his granddaughter, Isela Suarez; as well as numerous extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
Jose will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and his memory will live on in the many lives he touched through his kindness, guidance, and love for family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, US, on April 17, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
A Rosary will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, US, on April 17, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 6:45 pm.
