Jose Luis Trejo Jr.

Jose Luis Trejo, Jr., age 78, passed away on November 23, 2019. He was born on May 15, 1941 in Edinburg, Texas. He was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War whose motto was, “Once a Marine, Always a Marine.” Jose was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Jose, Sr. and Francisca, and his sister, Olga. He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Gloria; his children, Norma Linda, Richard Lee, and David Michael; his grandchildren, Brigette, Erin, Megan, Christopher, Nicole, Robert, Lucia, Olivia; his great grandchildren, Myabella and Marissa; and his sister, Maria L. Garcia.

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 8th from 6-8 pm in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 9th at 9:30 am with burial to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Toys for Tots Program at www.toysfortots.org.
