Jose Trevino Jr.

In the early morning of July 20,2024, Jose Trevino Jr., passed away peacefully at his home in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 80 years old. Jose was born in McAllen, Texas to Jose Treviño and Maria Garcia Treviño on March 1, 1944, and although he was born in McAllen, Texas, in 1967 he lived up north where he worked in agriculture then decided to move to San Antonio, Texas and start a family and his own business in fencing. He was a hard worker and very determined in his life, and in his spare time he enjoyed gardening at home and loved taking his chances of playing bingo.

Jose Jr. was preceded by his wife,Gloria Ramirez Trevino; parents Jose and Maria Trevino, his son; Jose Martin Trevino, sister; Petra (Trevino) Castro and brothers; Jesus, Anacleto, Rosendo, Pablo, and Frank Trevino.

He survived by his daughters; Angelica Treviño and Ruby Red (Rod), his grandkids; Clarissa Guajardo, Joe Treviño, John Treviño, Joe Albert Guajardo, Christopher Navarro, Malerie Trevino, Mario Guajardo, Mary Ann Ybarra, Angelica Ybarra. His great grandkids; Joseph, Rick, Chloe, Daniel, Elsa, Jacey, Vanellope, Noah, Jasper ,Zilias, Karoleena, and Jose Martin III. Jose Jr. is survived by 6 brothers: Guadalupe of Alamo TX; Pedro of Clearwater FL; Juan of Converse, TX; Joaquin of North Baltimore, OH; Martin of Pittsburgh, PA; Miguel of Weston, OH and 6 sisters Maria (Trevino) Ybanes of Weston, OH; Juanita (Trevino) Ybanes of Bowling Green, OH; Felicitas (Trevino) Jackson of Holland, OH; Teresa Trevino of St. Petersburg, FL; Maria Guadalupe Trevino, of TX; and Martina Trevino of Vermilion, OH. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

A visitations for Jose will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. A rosary will occur Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 7:00 PM, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 10:00 AM, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. A committal service will occur Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at San Fernando Cemetery III, 1735 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78226.
