He was born in Linares, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on May 8, 1918.
Mr. Trevino worked for many years as a welder and metal worker for several large businesses in San Antonio.
He told his family he was a student of the world and was a self-made man who worked hard and believed in education.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Micaela T. Criollo and grandchild, Steven Alexander Romo.
Jose Miguel is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Esperanza Trevino; son-in-law, Pete Criollo; daughter, Connie Estrada and husband, Fred; son, Jose P. Trevino and wife, Rosalie; daughter, Maria E. Romo and husband, John G.; daughter, Lupe Chavez and husband, Richard R.; daughter, Carmen Carrera and husband, Alfredo; son, Jose Miguel Trevino, Jr. all of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Mary Lou Castillo and husband, Pedro of St. Louis, Missouri; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives who loved him very much.
