

Josefa was born on April 29, 1936, in Charlotte, Texas. A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, she was truly the heart and glue of her family. Her love, strength, and guidance shaped generations, and her presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew her.
A lifelong Catholic, Josefa’s faith was the foundation of her life and her family. She was also proudly known as the biggest San Antonio Spurs fan, cheering faithfully for her team and sharing that joy with everyone around her.
Josefa's memory will forever live in the hearts of her three sons: Juan Ledesma and his wife Gina, Pedro Ledesma and his wife Yvonne, and Leovaldo Ledesma; her numerous grandchildren: Crystal, Cassandra, Erica, April, Johnny, Leilani, Jacob, Jerry, Alex, and Kristi; and her numerous great-grandchildren, who were a constant source of pride and happiness.
Josefa will also be remembered by her siblings, Ramon Trevino and his wife Rosa, Roberto Trevino and his wife Maria, Virginia Trevino, and Amada Valdez, along with numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Josefa was lovingly called home and welcomed at the gates of Heaven, where she was reunited with her parents, Ramon and Andrea Trevino; her beloved husband, Geronimo Ledesma; her cherished daughter, Juanita Ledesma; her sons, Richardo and Luis Antonio Ledesma; her precious grandson, Antonio Ledesma; her granddaughter, Levi Ledesma; and her siblings, Valentina Valdez, Roger Trevino, Roman Trevino, and Reynaldo Trevino.
Josefa Trevino Ledesma will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her boundless love for her family, and the way she held everyone together. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched and the generations she helped shape.

In this life You embraced her with Your love;
now grant her eternal rest and everlasting peace.

A Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, located at 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, on February 4, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Dismissal will take place at the funeral home on February 5, 2026, at 9:30 a.m for A Mass of the Resurrection that will be celebrated at St. John Berchmans Church, 1147 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78226, at 10:00 a.m., where services will conclude.
There will be no procession. Following the dismissal, the family of Josefa kindly asks all family and friends to travel to St. John Berchmans Church on their own.
