Upon graduation from high school, she started working in the finance business.
It was her life's desire to serve her community and in 1983 she became the proud business owner of Josie T. Perez Insurance Agency.
Josie touched many lives with her loving kindness. Her life was full of laughter and brought many smiles to everyone who crossed her path.
Josie was preceded in death by her parents, Nativivdad and Carmen Tovar; sister, Sarah De La Rosa.
She is survived by her husband, Ramiro Sandoval; son, Steve Michael Perez and wife, Kathleen M. Perez and daughter, Annette Marie Gomez; 1 grandson, "her pride and joy", Frank Alvin Gomez, III; brothers, Frank Montemayor and wife, Margaret, Lawrence Tovar and wife, Irene, Eugene Tovar and wife, Yolanda, David Tovar and wife, Sylvia, Nat Tovar and wife, Hope, Margarito Tovar and wife, Rachel and Danny Tovar and wife, Hilda; sisters, Rosa and Charles Bononicini, Alice Perez, Isabel Gutierrez and husband, David.
