Josefina Zendejas passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the age of 78 in Temple, TX. She was born on February 11, 1940 in San Antonio, TX to Jose and Altagracia Enriquez. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Juan Zendejas Jr., her parents, and grandsons: Ricardo Alexander Zendejas, Christian Isaiah Zendejas. She is survived by her children: Juan Zendejas III(Joyce), Michael Anthony Zendejas, Ricardo Zendejas (Tammy), Mark Andrew Zendejas (Gloria); grandchildren: Juan IV, Steven, Michael II, Jesse, Daniel, William, Megan, Vanessa, Brittan, Mark Andrew Jr., Kyrsten, Siblings: Jose Enriquez Jr., Gloria Garcia, Jaime Enriquez and Diana Trotter and numerous great grandchildren and other loving family members and friends.
Josefina was a caring mom, very selfless and very humble. She was very devoted to her family and had a witty sense of humor. She loved the casinos especially poker and she loved spending her time with her grandchildren.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 6p-9p with a rosary at 7p at Sunset Funeral Home. A Chapel Service will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 9:00a at the Funeral Home with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
