Joseph Flores

Joseph Flores, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at the age of 58. Born on June 15, 1965, in San Antonio, Texas, Joseph was the beloved youngest son of five boys and one girl of Ernesto and Martha Flores, both of whom he joins in eternal rest.

He leaves behind cherished memories and will be lovingly remembered by his devoted brothers: Steve (wife, Janet): Michael (wife, Lou, deceased); David (wife, Sylvia); Ernest (wife, Patsy) and by his baby sister and best friend, Maria Angelina. He was proud "Uncle Jojo" to numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. And, he was the best Dog Dad to his loyal companion, Serenity. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sisters-in-law, Rosemary Perry and Liz Flores.

Joseph leaves a special place in all of the hearts of his family and friends who were blessed to know and love him. He was a BBA graduate of Texas A&M University. He had many talents and was a "Jack of all trades." He was famous for his beautiful gift wrapping and making awesome costumes. He enjoyed camping, casinos, kayaking, day trips, and shopping. Joseph loved eating great food and spending time with family and friends. He was "Mr. Adventurous" by celebrating his 56th birthday skydiving for the very first time and taking his first solo trip to Ireland in 2022.

His gentle soul. His sense of humor. His sweet, compassionate, caring heart. His willingness to help others. These, and much more, are what made him special to each and every one of us, and we will hold him near and dear in our hearts.

He will forever be, our beloved Joseph.

The family will receive guests from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Porter Loring Mortuary.
