We've known Dr G for many years. My wife worked for him for over 8 years and he was also our pain doctor. I not only helped him get his CCL, but taught him to shoot, something we both liked to do. We knew him and his family very well and knew how much he loved his family. Not only was Joe dedicated to them, but to his profession and patients. He had a couple of setbacks in his office, but handled them with delicacy and continued on, never looking back. Dr. Gabriel was such a gentle spirit and a very kind man. I was a patient of his for many years and did not learn of his passing until I tried to get my script refilled. I was shocked when my pharmacist informed me. I last saw him on April 1. I would have never believed that would be the final visit. I would have shared with him how much I liked him and how I appreciated his care he had given to me throughout the years.

'"I was so shocked when I called doctor Gabriel's office to try to get in to see him for an appointment and was told he had passed away. I had to ask the young lady, excuse me what did you say? I broke down before I could hang the phone up all the way. Doctor Gabriel had been my doctor for 12 years and even more of a friend. He was taking care of me for chronic back, neck and shoulder pain.
