Joseph loved to play volleyball with his friends and family, listening to his favorite music which included every genre out there, and spending quality time with his beloved dog by playing and chasing her around.
Joseph will be united in heaven with his maternal grandparents, Antonio and Dolores Ibarra, his Paternal grandparents, Calvin and Maxine Gary, Uncle; Louie Ibarra, and Aunt; JoAnn Ibarra Jimenez.
Joseph’s memory will forever live in the hearts of his mother; Rosie, brother; Michael, nephews; Zakariyah and Ehzekiel, and his sister-in-law; Chay. On Joseph’s maternal side he is remembered by his uncles; Arthur (Stella), and Henry (Jackie), aunts; Pat, Angie (Benny Moore), and Patty, along with numerous cousins. On his paternal side Joseph is remembered by his uncles; Lee, Russell (Paula), and Jimmy (Pam), as well as numerous cousins.
The Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237 followed by a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Thursday, February 29, 203 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of The Resurrection at San Alphonsus Catholic Church, 2004 1202 S. Zarzamora St., San Antonio, TX 78207. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237.
