Joseph was an exceptional son, one who had unending love for his family, taking inspiration from his late step-father, Stephen Cooper, and grandfather, Jimmy Smith. Joseph McFarland married Cyrena on June 20th, 2009. Together they went on to have 2 children, Andrew and Alaina. A father who cuddled his kids when they needed it and made sure humor was always in the house, no matter what.
As a husband he was an exemplary example of love, patience and loyalty. A never-ending source of positive encouragement and a comfort for bad days and good.
Joseph is survived by his mother, Tana Lynn Cooper, his grandmother Jerrie Smith, his wife, Cyrena, and his two children, Andrew (11) and Alaina (10). He was preceded in death by his step-father, Steven Cooper and grandfather, Jimmy Smith.
