Josephine "Josie" Chavez, age 83, of San Antonio, died Tuesday, November 19, 2002. She was a member of St. Philip of Jesus Catholic Church. Longtime member of Senior Citizens Center at St. Philips. She will be remembered as a cake maker specializing in wedding cakes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond G. Chavez. Survived by her son, Ray Chavez, San Antonio, TX; daughter, Yolanda Underwood and husband, Robert, Voorhees, New Jersey; grandchildren, Elizabeth Hourihan and husband Peter, Lawrenceville, N.J, and Robert C. Underwood, Charlottsville, VA.
