Josephine R. Garcia was called home to be with the Lord, on April 19, 2014 at the age of 85. She is preceded in death by her mother Marina Ramirez and her loving husband of 64 years of marriage, Antonio M. Garcia. Josephine & Antonio both served as faithful members to their church. Josephine is survived by her beloved children; Tony R. Garcia (Irene), Abel R. Garcia, Mike R. Garcia (Lydia), Sandra G. Collazo (Charlie), 14 grandchildren ,19 great–grandchildren, sisters Sulema Villarreal, Rachel Hinojosa, numerous nieces, nephews and her friends. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014 at Iglesia Bautista Sur San Antonio, 2026 W. Pyron, San Antonio, Texas with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Saturday, April 26, 2014 after a 10:00 a.m. Chapel Services with interment to follow at Mission South Burial Park .
