Josephine Louise Guerra, 77, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on May 12, 2025. She was born on May 15, 1947, in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a life member of the Disabled Veteran’s Auxiliary Chapter 17.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Adele Garbo; her son, Javier Manuel Guerra; her brothers, Johnny Garbo, Frank Garbo, and Henry Garbo; and her brother-in-law, Mike Guerra.
Josephine is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jose Guerra Jr.; her children, Joseph Michael Guerra (Rose Linda) and Josephine Marie Koener (John); and her grandchildren, Jessica Guerra, Mario Anthony Guerra, Nicolás Christian Guerra, Valerie Lynn Koener, and John Jacob Koener. She also leaves behind her dog, Elmer.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2025 at 10:00 am at Sunset Memorial Park. A prayer will be lead by Arthur Guerra.
