Josie E. Trevino born on February 28, 1941 in San Antonio,Tx went to be with the Lord on April 29, 2013 at the age of 72. She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan Nepuneceno and Rosario Escalera; brother, Chenito Escalera. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Pete Trevino; daughters and sons-in-law, Alicia & Ricardo Gallegos, Janie & Angel Serna, Ida & Frank Jauregui, Lupe & Tim Rodriguez; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Hijinio Escalera, Miguel Escalera, Helen Trevino, Anita Cantu, Rosa Escalera, Lupe Escalera, Lina Galan, Tome Davila, Irene Gonzales, Cheno Escalera, Velia Mundine, and Santos Escalera; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday May 2, 2013 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart from the funeral home on Friday May 3, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Jude’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2.
