She was the beloved wife of the late Lt. Col. Harold Berman.
Mrs. Berman is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Debra Berman of Wilmington, NC; daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Maurice Mizrahi of Burke, VA; grandsons, Michael Mizrahi, Jonathan Mizrahi, and John Berman; granddaughter, Trina Mizrahi; and numerous nieces and nephews.
After settling in San Antonio following a career as a military wife and mother, she founded Berman Tax and Bookkeeping Service where she worked for 15 years.
She was a native Texan who loved gardening and wildflowers. She was an avid amateur painter who specialized in Texas outdoor scenes.
Mrs. Berman was a long-term member of St. John's United Methodist Church.
