Joy Strohacker Chesnutt, 66, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2014. Born in Kerrville, Texas on Feb. 5, 1948, she graduated from Kerrville Tivy High School in 1968 and Trinity University in 1977.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Willis. She is survived by her son, Malcolm L. Chesnutt and wife Jennifer; 4 grandchildren; brothers, Bill Strohacker and Oscar Strohacker; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway.
