Joyce was born in Shiner, Texas to Joseph and Anna Baros. After being raised on the family farm, she attended the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She had a long and distinguished professional career as a Registered Nurse and Hospital Administrator with the Baptist Health System of San Antonio.
Joyce’s greatest love was that of her family. She was the matriarch of a large and extended family; always giving love, support, guidance, and discipline when needed. Her love for her family was unprecedented. Also of great importance was her church. She was a member of the Founding Families of St Pius X Catholic Church, and worked tirelessly for many decades and in many roles with the church serving the Parish and the community.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husbands; Edward Anderson MD, and Daniel Lambrecht MD, and daughter, Danielle Green. She is survived by her children; Danalee Easterling, Danny Lambrecht, Larry Anderson, JoAnn Goodrich, Linda Coker, and Alan Anderson, along with numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Joyce was a dear woman, unselfishly giving and helping to others; her family, neighbors, community, her church and patients. She will be missed. However, she has entered into the Kingdom of God. Living forever surrounded by her family and friends.
