Joyce Elaine Sanders

Joyce Sanders, age 86, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020, in Oklahoma City, OK. Born on December 26, 1933, in Muskegon, MI, to parents, William B. Robbins and Marie Lewis. Joyce was a devoted grandmother who loved children and spent many years teaching Sunday School. One of her favorite activities was sewing, especially quilts. She laughed a lot at the amusing antics of the birds at the feeders. She enjoyed reading and always had a book nearby. She loved watching basketball and was an avid Spurs fan. She was preceded in death by, her husband W. H. Sanders; her parents, William and Marie Robbins; her brothers, Robert L. Robbins, William B. Robbins, and Lloyd (Jack) Robbins; and her sister, Shirley Hall. Joyce E. Sanders is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Keener and husband Keith; and her stepdaughters, Pam Billingsley and Marilyn Latham; her grandchildren Amy Tuxhorn and husband Duane, Nancy Weber and husband Richard, Nathan Flippo, and Kristen Chapman and husband Charlie; 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
