She was preceded in death by her parents, Col. Donald S. Velliquette and Augusta Gray Velliquette.
Joycelyn is survived by her husband, Victor J. Thiel of San Antonio; son, Jack Corbell, Jr. and wife Anita of Montgomery; daughter, Valli Lynn Walker and husband Kent of Corpus Christi; son, Victor J. "Jody" Thiel, II and wife Bettye of Midland; daughter, Tamara Lea Mackell of San Antonio; son, Timothy Brett Thiel of Austin; daughter, Suzann Thiel Glynn and husband Tim of San Antonio; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren with one on the way; one great-great-grandchild; and brother, Donald S. Velliquette, II and wife Lisa of Weatherford.
She was loved by her family and will be deeply missed.
