Juan Vasquez Galvan, born on October 21, 1936 in San Antonio, TX was called to be with the Lord on February 4, 2017 at the age of 80. He is preceded in death by his son, Gerard Galvan; sister, Socorro G. Alvarado; brother, Hector Galvan. He is survived by his children, Albert Galvan (Denise), Janie Galvan and Ramona Galvan; grandchildren, Roger Galvan, Angus Galvan, Geraldine Galvan and Devin Galvan; sisters, Teresa G. Salazar and Frances G. Guerra; also, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Trevino Funeral home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Joseph (So. San) Catholic Church, 535 New Laredo Hwy. Interment will follow in First Memorial Park.
