Juan Duarte Garcia born on May 31, 1922 in Kingsville, Texas was called to be with the Lord on May 12, 2015 at the age of 92. He served honorably as a WW II U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Garcia is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Maria Picon Garcia; parents, Jose A. and Herlinda Garcia; 1 sister and 5 brothers. He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Claudia, Herlinda, Jose Angel, Victor, Juan Manuel, Rosemary and Martha Garcia, Delfino Alejos, Lupe Arriola, Gloria Soliz and Simona Guzman; sister-in-law, Paula Picon; also, numerous great nieces and great nephews. A Visitation will begin on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. and continue Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Monday, May 18, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No. II.
