Juan Martinez Palacio was called home to be with the Lord, on October 11, 2014 at the age of 71. He is preceded in death by his loving mother Mercedes Martinez De La Rosa. Juan is survived by his beloved daughters; Shirlene Medellin, Sarah Powell (Kevin), grandchildren; Lori Ann Martinez, Mathew Jake Medellin, siblings; Simon Palacio, Ramon Palacio, Juana Medina, Petra Puente, Alicia Caldillo and Rita Rincon. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Road., San Antonio, Texas with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. for 11:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. John Berchmans’ Catholic Church with Interment to follow at First Memorial Burial Park, Von Ormy, Texas.Arrangements under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, San Antonio, Texas.
